One hull, two yachts - not quite: Faurby's 36s are separated by 30 centimetres in width. Pictures from the test of the noble beauties

A new rig, more effective keels and rudder blades as well as a completely revised hull structure with lower weight and higher strength. With this concept, developed together with Jesper Bank, the Danish small series shipyard Faurby has thoroughly overhauled its fleet in recent years.

The two 36s had to prove in the YACHT test that even somewhat dusty models can be transformed back into contemporary and extremely elegant yachts. The speciality here. The shipyard offers the already slim Faurby 363e in a special Lake Constance version. As the Faurby 360, the hull width shrinks by a further 30 centimetres to a berth-friendly three metres. Here are some pictures from the double test, the full report will appear in YACHT 12/2014.
